Key Events in the History of Nova Scotia: 1765.


§May 21st, first regular agricultural exhibition held at Windsor.
§In the spring of 1765, The Stamp Act was passed by the British parliament. It was to take effect on November 1st.
§The Quartering Act of 1765. The act required the local authorities in the colonies, where barracks were not available, to find quarters for troops.
§July, 1765: Edmund Burke becomes the private secretary to the Marquis Rockingham.
